Vallie returned to Nevada after being in New England for the past 4 years to witness and help her lifelong best friend, Rhori, get married. Although they hadn't been together for the high school years, distance didn't affect their friendship. Rhori married her high school sweetheart and Vallie was excited to make the trip to witness and be a bridesmaid at the event. Little did she know a wedding guest would change her life.

Chandler was ecstatic to return home from Provo where he had been in flight instructor training over the past two months to be a groomsman for his high school friend, William. He never thought for a minute that his small hometown, Moapa, Nevada, would have a visitor who would change his life.

Rhori and William quickly realized there could be something between Chandler and Vallie. William's quick thinking paired Vallie and Chandler together for their wedding festivities.

By the end of the evening, they were inseparable and found out that they both were residing in Provo together. Chandler bravely got Vallie's number and the rest is history. Texting and talking the whole way back that evening scheduling a first date for Thursday which quickly got moved forward because they wanted to see each other sooner.
